Our volunteer projects around Phnom Penh, Cambodia offer volunteer opportunities to help orphans in Cambodia.
Volunteers help orphans by teaching them English, basic use of the computer, arts and craft or music and dance.
A basic command of the English language will open up doors of job opportunities for these orphans when they grow older. Since the orphans know very little English and hardly have anyone to practice with, volunteers can help by engaging the kids in English conversations during their interaction. That's what we call teaching them to fish than giving them fish!
The orphanage also has a computer room where volunteers are welcomed to teach them the basic use of the computer. Another option with the pre-school children is to play with them and provide a helping hand in more general tasks around the orphanage.
There are altogether around 36 orphans between the ages of 2 to 16 years old at this Phnom Penh orphanage.
Start Date
Our volunteer programmes around Phnom Penh start on any date of your choice throughout the year. Volunteers arrive at least one day before the start of their program.
Volunteer Hours
Volunteers generally work from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The Singapore-based volunteer orientation program is especially beneficial for volunteers from Europe, America or Australia. The short-stint in Singapore allows international volunteers to adjust to the Asian culture, jetlag and acclimatise to Asian weather.
