Chiang Mai Orphanage 

In January 09, three volunteers from the United States flew to Thailand, Chiang Mai to volunteer at an orphanage which houses more than 80 youths and kids. The three friends, Jasmin, Nilam and Shreya, spent 4 days at the orphanage; interacting with the children and sharing of their time with them. Besides teaching the children English, the volunteers also helped in making handicrafts, decorating the classrooms and orphanage, and also played games with the children.

 Despite just having spent 4 days there, the volunteers brought much joy to the orphans, and it did not take the orphans long for them to 'warm up' to the attention and care they received from their new friends! :)
